Hello, I'm James, founder of DELUTS. Since 2015 I've made colour tools for filmmakers. EMULSION is my film engine: real negative and print behaviour, stock by stock, as Resolve OFX plugins, camera LUT packs and photo presets. Built to feel as true as film itself.

One film engine, every camera: Sony, RED, Nikon, ARRI, Canon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, DJI, Leica, Blackmagic, Apple, Z CAM and more. Each EMULSION pack is built for your camera's own log, so the look lands the same whatever you shoot on.

Created from real film. Every EMULSION look starts with real film. I use scans of motion-picture and still stocks as reference, and study how each one handles colour, contrast, highlights and grain. Those references then shape a film engine that models the full chain, from negative to print. Your footage behaves the way film does: highlights roll off gently, colours shift the way the dyes would, and the grain sits in the image rather than on top of it. Each camera gets its own starting point. EMULSION reads the camera's native log and gamut, so the same stock looks the same whether you shot on RED, ARRI, Sony or an iPhone. You can use it as a plugin with full control, or as a LUT that drops straight in.
